Jay’s Crystal Ball

PSADay2-bSeven of the eight remaining WSA players are ranked within 13 spaces in the world rankings. To suggest the quarter final matches will be close should be the understatement of the tournament. All of these matches deserve the fullest of attention from the crowd.
The match of lucky loser Sunil Seth and wild card Albert Shoihet should be very interesting. Both players stand to make huge gains in their world ranking by progressing to the quarter finals. The winner will be guaranteed $700 and 65 points…and average score of 65 would rank a player 83rd in the world.

Jens Schoor will face Charles Sharpes on court 2 at 8pm. They have faced twice before with Jens taking the win. However Charles now outranks him globally and a repeat is far from assures. This could be the PSA game of the night.
Dane Sharp and Nayelly Hernandez will join me wednesday morning on Rogers Daytime between 11am and noon.
Be sure to tune in!
