The London Squash & Fitness Club was founded in September 1966 as the London Squash Racquets club, and officially opened in October 1966 with exhibition matches involving many of the top ranked Canadian and world players. Today, the LSFC includes four international singles courts (two glass-backed), and one glass-backed North American doubles
court.

Club membership is limited to 400 squash players. Much of the success of the LSFC stems from its membership. As a private club fully devoted to squash, a special camaraderie exists among the men and women of the LSFC, because of the members’ involvement in, and commitment to, the ongoing growth and development of the club. The LSFC is a private non-profit corporation owned and managed by its members.

The orientation of the club is toward good fellowship through the sport of squash racquets. Members are encouraged to participate in both on-court and off-court activities, including special exhibition squash matches, feature parties and events, club tournaments and other activities.

Nestled in the historic Old North, the London Squash Racquets Club was originally a large family home. This gives the club a feeling of warmth and friendliness not found in more conventional clubs. In 2011 the club underwent renovations to strengthen it’s position as the premier squash and fitness facility in the region.

In October 2012, London Squash Racquets Club re-branded itself to the London Squash & Fitness Club. This better reflected the new expanded fitness facilities and culture of the club where squash, fitness and healthy lifestyles meet.
