2026 Nash Cup Thursday Match Summary

We’re going to keep it simple tonight. No write ups. The live stream went perfectly, and we featured a great variety of local commentators. Check it out at Squash TV. A full crowd took in some amazing matches and we hope they were enjoyed globally.

Quarter final matches were amazing with stiff competition.

Only 3 seeded players remain in the draw
3 Past champions – Baillargeon; Naughton; and Zein – All Canadian, are among the final 8.
It’s the first time we have had 2 Malaysian’s in the final 8, a country that has never been on the NASH Cup trophy.

The Jack Fairs Open is also down to 4 including one of Western’s newest players Youssef Taha. You can count on some great semi-final matches.

Today also featured the annual doubles Calcutta with great participation from our professionals – some playing hardball doubles for the first time. Congratulations to champions Karina Tyma & Torrie Malik (right) and runners up Madison Lyon & Nauman Khan. They surround Phill Stables who has been setting the draw up for almost as long as the NASH Cup has been around – he had hair back then. A big thank you to all who participated.
