The world’s only PSA event with a larger women’s purse

It’s with great pride and excitement that we announce the 11th Annual NASH Cup Professional Squash Tournament will be the only PSA event in the world where the women’s purse is larger than the men’s. Competition brackets for PSA events have changed for the 2018-19 season, meaning that an even split of $15,000 USD for both men and women was not a feasible approach.

This event aims to help Canadian athletes succeed on the world stage. At the present time, Canada has 5 women ranked in the world’s top 65, and our top male is ranked 71st. If the NASH Cup had shifted the men to an M20 event many rising Canadians would have been blocked out as entries are set by player rank. If we hadn’t raised the women to a W20 some of our best players would be too highly ranked to attend. It made sense to boost the woman’s purse.” – Jay Nash, Tournament Host

While the men’s purse is a step back to the M10 level, the newly increased W20 women’s draw will be the most competitive ever seen in London. Professional player entries officially closed on July 3rd. The event is set to feature 12 of the world’s top 100 men and 14 of the world’s top 100 women. The field includes players from 17 countries

The NASH Cup has been a grass roots effort from its 2008 launch – volunteer run and not-for-profit. The tournament’s success is driven by the members of London Squash & Fitness, dedicated sponsors, and an incredible volunteer committee. New sponsors are always welcome.

The NASH Cup is one of 20 PSA events taking place in Canada this year and is offering the country’s second-largest player purse for 2018.

Tickets are very limited and with some nights already sold out.

Amateur entry opens August 1st
